Cloud automation gets closer to the press!

Good2Go Software, a leader in cloud-based, document management for commercial print production, is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with PDF Snakes’ on-line imposition service. This collaboration delivers a seamless, cloud-based printing workflow—from file submission to print approval and now a final imposed layout—designed to save printers time, reduce manual steps, and improve overall production efficiency.

With the new solution, once files have been approved for print, they are sent for automatic imposition using the cloud version of PDF Snake. When complete, the imposed file is sent back to Good2Go and queued up for print. PDF Snake supports template creation for a large variety of flat and folded work covering the most common layouts for digital and offset printing.

With this partnership, print service providers will be able to streamline the production of many common print products. With the automated preflight in Good2Go files that pass preflight can be quickly moved into final customer approval. Once approved, an automation workflow monitoring Good2Go’s events will move eligible files into the right imposition workflow and final print queue. 

By keeping everything in the cloud and managed by Good2Go, files remain accessible and organized so anyone in the printshop can access the original or imposed files. In addition, Good2Go captures the history for a file including preflight results, processes applied, change requests, final print approval and more. This provides data that can be recalled verifying past results or passed onto CRM or MIS solutions for additional business analysis.

How it works:

1. Good2Go provides the foundation cloud services to obtain final print approval. Services include, powerful document management features, PDF Preflight, document review, collaboration and job monitoring. 
2. Once files are approved for print, the workflow filters jobs based on their pre-defined imposition needs and forwards files with the right imposition template to PDF Snake in the cloud.
3. When complete the final imposed file is sent back to Good2Go, where the file is queued up for final print. The file is only downloaded from Good2Go when it’s time to print.

The solution is available immediately. Subscriptions costs for each required service is separate. Following is the starting prices for each service:

·      Good2Go Plus: $99.00 USD/Mo.

·      PDF Snake Online: $12.39 USD/Mo + $6.99 for 3GB of data, or $49.99 for 50GB.

·      Zapier Pro (optional): $30-$60/Mo.

As part of the solution, Good2Go will offer an initial set-up package that will include, setting up of Good2Go, PDF Snake with 5 imposition templates, Zapier with the basic automation workflows for only $399.00 (one-time fee).
